EUNICE-Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 10, 2007 at 11:00 am at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel for Douglas Joseph Fuselier, 72, who passed away Saturday, September 08, 2007. Rite of Committal will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Fr. Dan Picard Celebrant.

Mr. Fuselier was a graduate of the Louisiana State School for the deaf in Baton Rouge, LA.

A Loving Father, Brother, and Paw-Paw, Mr. Fuselier is survived by his son, Donald Joseph Fuselier of Eunice; two daughters, Cathy Fuselier Dupre and husband, George of Washington, LA; Kimberly Fuselier Tanner; brother, Gerald Edmond Martel and wife, Audrey of Eunice; sister, Merci Fuselier Robertson of Lafayette; five grandchildren.

His parents, Ewell and Ester Martel precede him in death.

The family request that visiting hours be observed at Ardoins Funeral Home on Sunday, September 09, 2007 from 9:00am until 10:00pm and again on Monday, September 10, 2007 from 8:00am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Sunday evening.
