Donald Fontenot

EUNICE~ On Saturday, May 7, 2022, Donald Fontenot, a brother, uncle and friend passed away at Eunice Manor at the age of 72.  A Celebration of Donald’s life will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Monday, May 09, 2022, at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice. Burial will follow in the New St. Ann Cemetery in Mamou with Deacon Gary Gaudin, officiating.

Donald was born on August 19, 1949, in Mamou to Roy C. and Euna Fuselier Fontenot. He loved children and quarters. He could speak French and English. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him especially his three sisters, Fern Latiolais of Lawtell, Hedy Pitre of Eunice and Andrea Tedeseco and husband, Richard of Labadieville: as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Monday, May 9th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon Gary Gaudin will pray a Rosary at 1:30 pm.

He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Caledonia Fontenot, Richard Fontenot and Luther Fontenot.
