EUNICE It is with great sadness that the family of Diana M. Lyons announces her passing on Tuesday, October 06, 2009 at the Lafayette General Medical Center at the age of 64. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 08, 2009 at 1:00 pm at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Clint Trahan Celebrant and Father Tom Voorhies Co-Celebrant.

Diana was a woman of strong faith and is an inspiration to us all. She leaves behind a loving and grateful family including her husband, Johnny Lyons of Eunice; her son, Brett Lyons and his wife, Erica of Eunice; her two daughters, Yvette Lyons Bae and her husband, Ron of Cottonwood, Alabama, and Monette Lyons Soileau of Baton Rouge; her three brothers, Michael Miller of Gonzales, Gary Miller of Lake Charles, and Kevin Miller of Eunice as well as her four loving grandchildren, Alex Soileau, Allison Soileau, Landen and Lathan Lyons. She will be deeply missed by them.

Now she rests in heaven with her beloved parents, Rufus and Dorothy Stevens Miller.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Wednesday, October 07, 2009 from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Thursday, October 08, 2009 from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon Gary Gaudin will recite a Rosary a 6:00 pm Wednesday evening.
