EUNICE-A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at 1:00 pm at St. Ann Catholic Church in Mallet for Dennis Peter Gobert, 50, who passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2008 at Opelousas General Hospital. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Ann Cemetery in Mallet with Father Dennis Osuagwu officiating.

A Loving husband, brother, son-in-law, and friend, Dennis is survived by his wife, Lorraine Bellow Gobert of Mallet: father and mother-in-law, Allen and Marjorie Bellow of Mallet; five brothers, Eddie C. Gobert and wife, Mary of Diamondhead, MS, Darrell J. Gobert of Chloe, LA, Carroll Gobert, Paul Gobert, and Phillip Gobert, all of Mallet; three sisters, Genevieve G. Simien and husband, Ruben, Alonda A. Gobert, and Laura Gobert, all of Mallet. Dennis will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Tee and Mildred Durousseau Gobert; three brothers, James T. Gobert, Clarence J. Gobert, and Harold Gobert.

The family request that visiting hours be observed on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice from 7:00 am until time of services.
