EUNICE- Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 07, 2007, at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice for Mr. Delton BeaBea Fontenot, 77, who passed away Saturday, March 03, 2007 at Dallas V.A. Hospital.

Interment will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice with Deacon David Guillory officiating.

Mr. Fontenot was a native of Mamou and a resident of Arlington, TX. He was retired as Military Police with the United State Air Force having served in the Korean Conflict as well as numerous duty stations around the globe.

Survivors include his daughter, Sherleen Sickles of Arlington, TX; one sister, Ena Sliman and husband, Mitch of Eunice; four grandchildren, Sherleena Buchman and husband, Joey of Jackson, Ohio, Sandy Sickles of Athens, Ohio, Derrick Sickles and wife, Katie of Akron, Ohio, Russell Sickles of Chattanooga, TN; seven grandchildren; nine nieces and nine nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents, Renus and Effie Guillory Fontenot; one brother, Chester Fontenot; three sisters, Ethel Peirsall, Ida Pearl Lomas, Loza Fontenot.
The family request that visitation hours be observed from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 06, 2007, at Ardoins Funeral Home of Eunice and again on Wednesday March 07, 2007 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening.
