EUNICEThe family announces with sorrow, the passing of Debbie H. Stroderd on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Charles W. Gertsenberg Hospice Center in West Palm Beach, Florida. She was 55. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of committal will follow in the Reed Cemetery with Father Cedric Sonnier Celebrant.

Debbie a resident of Florida but her home is in Louisiana will be remembered for the tremendous love she had for her family, her love of pets, her friendliness, her positive attitude as well as her love for watching the cooking channel. Most of all, she was a very strong and brave women and a fighter that would never give up. Debbie was a loving wife, daughter, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. Her greatest joy in life was her family her loving husband, Ken Stroderd of Florida her parents, Gerald and Ethel Hale of Eunice her daughter, Andrea David and husband, Tim and their daughter, Alexa David of Carencro a brother, David Hale and wife, Shirley of Breaux Bridge two sisters, Darlene Mire and husband, Chris of Iota and Wanda Veillon and husband, Billy of Centerville. Also mourning her loss are nieces and nephews. She will forever be loved and missed by everyone whose hearts she touched.

She now rests in Heaven with her beloved daughter, Alicia Stroderd a sister, Karen Veillon brotherinlaw, Danny Stroderd her grandparents, Paul and Amelie Arabie and Oscar and Goldie Hale.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Tuesday, January 15th from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm and again on Wednesday, January 16th from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00pm on Tuesday evening.
