EUNICEIt is with heavy hearts that the family of Darla Brown, 50, announces her passing on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes in Lafayette surrounded by her loved ones. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Paul Mausoleum with Father Sonny Brown Celebrant and Deacon David Guillory CoCelebrant.

Darla was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and friend who loved gardening and tending to her flowers. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Kenneth J.Brown of Eunice mother, Rose Mary Miller of Eunice daughters, Amber Brown Dufrene and husband, Paul Dufrene 8547 of Cutoff and Kristi Brown of Eunice brother, Joseph Randy Miller of Eunice sisters, Linda Miller and husband, Gus of Eunice and Marilyn Johnson and husband, Markel of Chataignier mother inlaw, Dorothy Jane Brown of Eunice sister inlaws, Tammy M. Brown of Kemah, TX and Linda Venable and husband, Tony of Eunice brother in law, Father Wilbur Sonny Brown and three grandchildren whom were the joys of her life, Addilyn Dufrene, Paul Dufrene8548,and Emrie Dufrene.

Darla is preceded in death by her beloved father, Leonard Miller sisters, Mary Jane Miller and Sandra Miller Guillory father inlaw, Wilbur Joseph Brown and sister inlaw, Sharon A. Brown.

At the request of the family visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Monday , October 14th from 2:00 pm until 12:00 am and again on Tuesday, October 15th from 7:00 am until time of services. Deacon David Guillory will recite a Rosary at 6:00 pm Monday evening.
