It is with profound sadness that the family of Craig Neal Miller announces his passing on November 15, 2024, at the Baton Rouge General Hospital. He was 69 years old. In honor of his remarkable life, on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 a visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a Celebration of Life at 6:00 PM at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice, led by Deacon Chuck Ortego. The family warmly invites all to share their cherished memories of Craig.
Craig was born on March 21, 1955, to Allen Gus and Virginia Bergeron Miller. His early career began in the oilfield, where he worked alongside his father and brothers at I. E. Miller and Sons Trucking. For 33 years, he and his wife, Becky, were proud owner/operators of C & B Enterprises, showcasing his dedication and hard work to provide for his family—a lesson he instilled deeply in his children.
His passions included fishing, cheering for Astro’s baseball team, and celebrating LSU sports. Yet, the essence of Craig’s life was captured in his role as a loving husband, devoted father, dear brother, and most importantly, a wonderful grandfather. His family will carry forward his legacy of love and commitment, and they will miss him dearly.
Craig is survived by his beloved wife of fifty years, Becky Huckaby Miller of Duralde; their three children, Angela Renee Couch and her husband, Wayne of Franklinton, Craig Neal Miller, II of Niceville, FL, and Katy Patrice Gobert and her husband, J.D. of Watson; and his siblings, Ann Cram and her husband, Wayne of Mobile, AL, Darryl T. Miller and his wife, Patti of Church Point, and Kent D. Miller and his wife, Debbie of Eunice. He leaves behind the three joys of his life: his grandchildren, Tyler Ryan Miller, Olivia Angelle Couch, and Lane Clyde Gobert, along with extended family and dear friends.
Craig was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Allen “Al” Miller, Jr.
The family invites you to remember Craig for the love he shared and the joy he brought into their lives. Those wishing to view this obituary or sign the guestbook can do so at www.ardoinfuneralhomes.com.
