EUNICEIt is with great sadness that the family of Consuela Connie LaFleur announces her passing on Tuesday, September 07, 2010 at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice. She was 85. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00 am Wednesday, September 08, 2010 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Chataignier. Rite of Committal will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery with Rev. Darren Eldridge and Deacon T. J. Richard officiating.

Consuela known as Connie to all who knew her was a retired Teachers Aid at Chataignier Elementary as well as a past choir member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church and a volunteer with Hospice. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandson, Aaron Anderson of Houston, TX her three sistersinlaw, Addie Hundley of Eunice, Mona Fontenot and Irma Hilbrecht both of Baton Rouge. Connie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Now Connie rests in Heaven with her beloved husband, LeRoy LaFleur her daughter, Jeannette LaFleur Anderson and her parents.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Chataignier on Wednesday, September 8th from 9:00 am until time of services.
