IOTAIt is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Connie Gro Dale LeJeune announces his passing on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at his residence. Funeral services will be Celebrated on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at 2:00 pm at St. Jules Catholic Church in Te Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in the Reed Cemetery with Deacon Mike Tramel Officiating.

Connie known as Gro serviced his country proudly in the United States Army as well as being a member of the American Legion Post 371 of Iota.

A loving husband, father, brother and grandfather, he will be sadly missed by his wife, Barbara H. LeJeune of Tepetate a son, Benjamin Thomas LeJeune and wife, April of Morse a daughter, Jessica L. Lopez and husband, Luis of Tepetate two brothers, James LeJeune of Jennings and Darrell LeJeune and wife, Loretta of Basile sister, Joanette Klumpp and husband, Wayne of Evangeline two grandchildren, Hunter James LeJeune and Kyra Michelle LeJeune.

Connie is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Kermit and Pearl Hebert LeJeune and a brother, Milan LeJeune.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Iota on Monday, July 5, 2010 at 11:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Tuesday at 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Monday evening.
