Born on December 6, 1944, to the late Harold and Rita Falcon Cowart, Clifton devoted many years to serving his country proudly in the United States Navy. Following his service, he embarked on a remarkable career as a truck driver, where he dedicated over sixty-two years to the open road. Clifton had a deep passion for drag racing and would often look forward to watching high school football on tv. He was also a member of Grace Community Baptist Church in Iota.

However, it was his family that brought him the greatest joy. Clifton cherished the time spent with his loving companion, Sharon Rastley of Iota, and was a devoted father to his three sons, Jarred Cowart and his wife, Jessica,Clifton Heath Cowart and fiancé, Debra, and Nicholas Dwayne Cowart all of Denham Springs and step children, Ronnie Courville, Troy Orillion and wife, DeAnna and Jewels (Peanut) Orillion and wife, Faith all of Iota: daughter, Lindsey Courville of Iota. He found immense happiness in being a grandfather to his two beloved grandchildren, Justin Cowart and wife, Liz, of Zachary and Hailey Cowart of Watson who brought light to his life. Clifton's warmth will be deeply missed by his numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, siblings; as well as extended family and many dear friends who were fortunate to have known him.

Clifton was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Ramona Elaine Cowart, his daughter, Chelsea Lynn Cowart, and his beloved parents. In honoring his wishes, the family will not hold any services.

As we remember Clifton, we celebrate a life filled with love, service, and joy. His spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
