EUNICE-It is with great sadness that the family of Clementine Clem V. Courville announces her passing on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at the age of 83. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2009 at 1:00 pm at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Tom Voorhies Celebrant.
Clementine known as Clem to all who knew her was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She lived a very full life surrounded by people who loved her and she loved. She is survived by her beloved children, her one son, Forest L. Courville and his wife, Karen of Rowlet, TX; five daughters,, Jeanora Miller of Eunice; Clara Mallet and her husband, Ed of Pearland, TX, Judy Roy and her husband, Cecil of Eunice, Bonnie Vasseur of Hickory, NC, Kathy Courville and her husband, Ricky of Eunice; twenty cherished grandchildren, twenty nine special great grandchildren, and numerous beloved great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Forest Courville Sr,; and her parents, Peter and Mathilda Soileau Verret.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Friday, June 19, 2009 from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Saturday, June 20, 2009 from 8:00 am until time of services. Sister Hilda Mallet will recite a Rosary at 7:00 pm Friday evening.
