EUNICEIt is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Claudia Young Guillory announces her passing on Wednesday, November 04, 2009 at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice at the age of 91. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Friday, November 06, 2009 at 10:00 am at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Clint Trahan Celebrant.

A wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, Claudia leaves behind a loving and grateful family including her son, Jimmie J. Guillory and his wife, Patsy of Lafayette; her daughter, Edwina G. Larcade of Opelousas. Also mourning her loss are her six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Now she rests in heaven with her beloved husband, Joseph Edward Guillory; her parents, Yves and Lydia Young and her granddaughter, Claudia LaDonna Larcade.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Thursday, November 05, 2009 from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Friday, November 06, 2009 from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon Gary Gaudin will recite a Rosary at 6:00 pm Thursday evening.
