IOTAIt is with great sadness that the family of Chester Lee NuNu Fontenot announces his passing on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at his residence. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Miller French Baptist Church in Iota. Interment will follow in the Miller French Baptist Cemetery with Pastor Garland Reed and Brother Louis Charriere officiating.

Chester know as NuNu to all who knew him serviced his country proudly in the United States Army in the Korean war as well as a retired pipefitter. He had a love for fishing and hunting. He will be lovingly missed by his wife, Leddie F. Fontenot of Iota his daughter, Patricia A. Gotte of Westlake his three grandchildren, Tricia Byrd, John Paul Gotte, Jacinta Rippeon three great grandchildren, Ethan and Christopher Byrd and Madisyn Rippeon.

Now he rests in Heaven with his beloved parents, Amos and Theresa LeJeune Fontenot.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Miller French Baptist Church in Iota on Friday, September 24, 2010 from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Saturday, September 25, 2010 from 8:00 am unit time of services
