Charles Boone

 EUNICE-It is with heavy hearts that the family of Charles Boone announces his passing on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at his home at the age of 73. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Ashford Cemetery with Pastor Mike Fontenot officiating.

 Charles was born on February 13, 1951, to the late Alexson and Lorena Duplechain Boone. He found great joy in cooking and hosting get-togethers for family and friends. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

 Charles is survived by his son, Brandon Gawthorp of Hempstead, TX; his sisters, Patricia Bergeron and husband, Clay, and Diana Belfour and husband, Leander, all of Eunice and Myrtle Meaux of Texas; his grandchildren, Ashton and Ava Gawthorp, and Gabrielle Winters; as well as extended family and friends.

 He is preceded in death by his son, Chad Boone; his parents; and brother, Ralland Boone.

 At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 9:00 am until time of services.
