Chanda Lafleur

EUNICE~It is with the heaviest hearts and great sadness that the family of Chanda Holcomb LaFleur announces her passing at Acadian Medical Center on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at the age of 41. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Ashford Cemetery with Pastor Chris Frye officiating.

Chanda, loved the Saints, photography and enjoyed being a private investigator. She was a most loving, caring mother, fiancé, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her fiancé, Brandon LeJeune of Eunice; her mother, Jade Michelle Bertrand of Chataignier; her four children, Erica West and Devan West of Eunice, Kenzie LaFleur of Ville Platte and Kaeden LeJeune of Eunice; three step children, Garrett West of Eunice,, Angel West of Alexandria and Ethan LeJeune of Vidrine; two brothers, Derek Bertrand of Lake Arthur and Darrin Bertrand of Chataignier; sister, Shannon Mocanu of Prairieville and the five joys of her life, Emaleen Soileau, Everett Daville, Hayden Bushnell, Fallyn Boone and Riddick Virk; as well as extended family and friends. "The most painful goodbyes are the ones that are never said and never explained.

She is preceded in death by her father, Lee Allen Bertrand and her grandmother, Dorothy Mae Holcomb.

The family asks in lieu of flowers, and for those who desire, memorial contributions can be made.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Tuesday, January 21st from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Wednesday, January 22nd from 8:00 am until time of services.
