Chaise Benoit

IOTAIt is with the heaviest hearts and great sadness that the family of Chaise Benoit announces his sudden passing on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at his residence at the age of 27. A Celebration of Life will be Celebrated at 1:00 pm on Sunday, January 02, 2011 at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Iota. Interment will follow in the Ardoin Cove Cemetery in Welsh with Rev. Bobby Cormier officiating.
Chase a resident of Iota was a machinist and welder with Industrial Fabrication Sandblasting Services of Iota. He was a loving son, brother, grandson and friend, Chaise will be remembered by his mother, Lou Andrepont of Iota his father and stepmother, Randy and Janet Benoit of Iota his maternal grandmother, Addlia Andrepont of Lake Charles his girlfriend, Colleen Stanford his two brothers, Chan Benoit and wife, Heather of Egan and Shane Benoit and wife, Mena of Welsh his three sisters, Christa Credeur and husband, Chris of Arnaudville, Dana Seilhan of Columbus, Ohio and Kisa Lantz of Iota. All who knew and loved him will miss Chaise dearly.
He now rests in Heaven with his beloved grandparents, Calvin Andrepont, Edmund and Olite Benoit and Webster and Annie Lantz.
Pallbearers carrying Chaise to his eternal resting place will be Chan and Shane Benoit, Chris Credeur, Mark Simar, Red Regan, Kory Miller and honorary pallbearer, Kory Leger.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Iota on Saturday, January 1st from 12 noon until 10:00 pm and again on Sunday, January 2nd from 8:00 am until time of services.
The family requested that donations may be made to The Bank in Iota in lieu of flowers.
