EUNICE-A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Thursday, September 13, 2007 at 11:00 am at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice for Cecile A. Roger, 89, who passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2007. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Paul Mausoleum with The Reverend Fr. Edward Duhon Celebrant.

A Loving Mother and Grandmother, Mrs. Roger is survived by her four children, Ethel R. Roger of Eunice, John Hubert Roger of Eljay, Georgia, Barbara R. Comeaux and Juanita R. Siffert both of Houston, TX; twelve grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Edvin Roger; a son Vernon Roger; a great grand daughter, Kayla Sue Johnson; sister, Eve Nan Richard.
The family request that visiting hours be observed at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Wednesday, September 12, 2007 from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Thursday, September 13, 2007 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church from 9:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Wednesday evening.
