EUNICE- A Celebration of Life will be Celebrated on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at 11:00 am at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice for Cassie V. Fontenot, 78, who passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2008 at her residence in Lake Charles. Rite of Committal will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice with Father Tom Voorhies Celebrant.

A Loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Cassie is survived by two sons, J. Byron Fontenot and wife, Katherine of Prairieville, and John Timothy Fontenot of Baton Rouge; one daughter, Sonia Marie Maskas and husband, Stanley of Deridder; nine grandchildren, Stacy Renee Gauthier, Melissa Kemp Hubbs, Brett John Fontenot, Jeffery Fontenot, David Fontenot, Carrie Fontenot, Nick Maskas, Eleni Maskas, and Maria Maskas; and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Belton Fontenot; and parents, Avie and Mary Smith Vige.

The family request that visiting hours be observed on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice from 9:00 am until time of services.
