EUNICE- A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 1:00 pm Saturday, March 03, 2007 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice, for Calvin Ortego, Jr, 53, who passed away on Thursday, March 02, 2007 at his residence.

The Rev. Stephen Ugwu , Pastor of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice, will be the Celebrant with the Rite of Committal to follow in the St. Augustine Mausoleum in Basile.

Survivors include his mother, Lois Langley Ortego of Eunice; a daughter, Holly O. Landry of Eunice; a sister, Diane Ortego Brown of Eunice; two grandchildren, Trevor Landreau, Logan Landry; three nieces and one nephew.

Preceded in death by his father, Calvin J. Ortego, Sr.

The family request that visitation hours be observed from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Friday, March 02, 2007 at Ardoins Funeral Home of Eunice and again on Saturday, March 03, 2007 from 8:00 am until time of services with a Rosary to be recited by Father Jules Speyrer at 7:00 pm Friday evening.
