EUNICE-It is with great sadness that the family of Calvin Claiborne McManus, M.D., 70, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2009 in Houston, TX. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at 1:00 pm in the Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery in Eunice with Father Ed Duhon officiating.

Calvin was a resident of Pasadena, TX and a loving father, brother, and friend, he is survived by his two daughters, Lana Rae McManus and Melanie Dawn McManus both of Charleston, SC; two brothers, Larry McManus, M.D. of Slidell and Bill McManus of Lake Charles.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claiborne and Myrtle McManus.

The family request that visiting hours be observed on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice from 9:00 am until time of services.
