IOTAIt is with the heaviest hearts and great sadness that the family of Calli Anne Spaetgens announces her death on Friday, October 14, 2011 at Tulane University Medical Center in New Orleans at the age of 3 months. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 19th, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Iota. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery with Father Mikel Polson Celebrant.

She was the precious and beloved daughter of Jerry and Amanda Miller Spaetgens of Iota and is also survived by her two sisters, Gracie Rose and Maddelynn Paige Spaetgens of Iota maternal grandmother, Roxanne Regan Miller of Iota paternal grandparents, Johnny and Charlotte Spaetgens of Roberts Cove maternal great grandmother, Evaline Regan of Iota paternal great grandparents, W. Leo and Ruby Spaetgens, and Curnel and Rose Istre of Crowley two aunts, Amy and husband, Ross Deloach of Iota, and Crystal Spaetgen Gauthreaux of Crowley two uncles, Alex Miller of Iota, and Kyle Spaetgens, whom is also her Godfather, of Roberts Cove Godmother, Gina Regan of Evangeline and four cousins, Levi and Noah Deloach, and Keelyn and Ella Gauthreaux. Calli Anne was loved by all who met her, and will be greatly missed.

Calli now rests in Heaven with her beloved maternal grandfather, Timothy Miller maternal great grandfather, George Regan and maternal great grandparents, Hugh and Betty Miller.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Iota on Tuesday, October 18th from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Wednesday, October 19th from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 6:30 pm Tuesday evening.
