Family, camping, hunting, fishing, gardening, and sports were just a few of his loves in life. He was also known as a people person and had an eternal love for God and his fellow man. Mr. Young played a vital part and was very active in the church he served. He was first ordained Deacon at the First Baptist Church of Eunice, and in later years served at the North Eunice Baptist Church, where he played an instrumental part in its establishment, as well as the University Baptist Church of Eunice. It was his hearts desire that everyone have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and live for Him.
