BASILEIt is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Brenda Faye Christ announces her passing on Friday, October 22, 2010 at her home. She was 63. A Celebration of Life will be Celebrated at 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 24, 2010 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Basile. Entombment will follow in the St. Augustine Mausoleum with Father Brian Taylor, Celebrant.

Brenda will be remembered as one who enjoyed being with her family and friends as will as reading, watching sports and was a big L.S.U. fan. She was very much loved by her brother, Herman Christ and wife, JoAnn of Basile her sister, Carol Noonie Zaunbrecher and husband, J.W. of Mowata and numerous nieces and nephews.

She now rests in Heaven with her beloved parents, Elridge Bee and Cleola Chaumont Christ.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Basile on Saturday, October 23rd from 1:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Sunday, October 24th from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Sunday evening.
