IOTAA wonderful mother, sister and friend, Bonita Andrepont Simar will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Bonita died peacefully on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at MeadowBrook Specialty Hospital in Lafayette. She was 71. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Iota. Rite of committal will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery with Father Mikel Polson Celebrant.

Bonita was a retired LPN and she was very proud of it as well as her love for animals, especially cats. She will be missed dearly at Christmas time for her gifts of candy. Bonita was a very special person and she will always be remembered with love and pride by all her friends and family including her two sons, Michael R. Andrepont and Chris Andrepont and fianc Mona LeJeune and her daughter, Carly and son, Blake Francois all of Iota her two sisters, Nelma Leckelt of Jennings and Elaine Chatagnier and husband, Johnny of Iota as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She now rests in Heaven with her beloved parents, Raymond and Pearl LeJeune Andrepont and her sister, Cecilia Leger.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Iota on Monday, March 26th from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Tuesday, March 27th from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Monday evening.
