EUNICEA wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, Bonita Marie Bellon will be missed by all who knew her and loved her. Bonita died peacefully on Friday, August 05, 2011, at the American Legion Hospital in Crowley surrounded by her loved ones. She was 68. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3:00 pm on Monday, August 08, 2011 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Burial will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery with Msgr. Robert Romero Celebrant.

Bonita was a homemaker and devoted her life to the care of her family. She was a very kind and loving woman and spending time with her family and friends brought a great deal of joy to her life. Bonita will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Belinda LeBleu and husband, Donny of Welch, and Angela Jenkins and husband, David of Lawtell her two sons, David Bellon and wife, Lynn of Mamou, and Kurt Bellon and wife, Sandra of Eunice her twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren who were a great source of joy.

Now she rests in Heaven with her beloved husband, Harold Bellon parents, Jules and Eula Duplechain Fontenot brother, Herbert Fontenot sister, Jane LeJeune and granddaughter, Stevie Bellon.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Sunday, August 07, 2011 from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Monday , August 08, 2011 from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Sunday evening.
