EUNICE-It is with great sadness that the family of Bobby Bellard announces his passing on Monday, July 13, 2009 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria at the age of 70. A celebration service of Bobbys life will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at 2:00 pm at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Deacon David Guillory officiating.

Bobby was a gentleman who deeply cherished his family and valued his friends and brought smiles to all who knew him. He will be remembered by his family as loving, kind and filled with laughter. He is survived by his beloved children, his son, Ricky Bellard of Prairieville; his two daughters, Mandy Gil and husband, Bryan of Lafayette and Cindy Soileau of Eunice; his two brothers, Mickey and Clarence Bellard both of Eunice; his three sisters, Bessie Fletcher of Eunice, Betty Garcille and Linda Soileau both of Lake Charles; his seven cherished grandchildren, Amy G. Windmeyer, Tiffani Stelly, Ashley Gil, Jeremy Stelly, Casey Bellard, Tanna B. Champlin, and John Gil; his three special great-grandchildren, Ava Windmeyer, Collin and Hudson Champlin.

Now he rests in heaven with his beloved parents, George and Eva Mahar Bellard.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home of Eunice on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 from 3:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Tuesday evening.
