EUNICEIt is with the heaviest hearts that the family of Billy Thomas Bertrand announces his passing on Monday, December 12, 2011 at the age of 50. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Nathan Comeaux Celebrant.

He was a Surveyor for Aucoin Associates Inc for 30 years, but most importantly he was a beloved husband, son, father, brother and grandfather. He will forever be loved and missed by everyone whose hearts he touched including his wife, Telina L. Bertrand of Eunice his mother, Mary Lou Bertrand of Eunice his son, Dylan Thomas Bertrand of Eunice his daughter, Virginia Marie Bertrand of Eunice his brother, Robert Bertrand, Sr of Dry Creek his two sisters, Jenny Jagneaux and Patrica Reed both of Eunice and his greatest joy in life his granddaughter, Cayleigh Claire Bertrand.

He now rests in Heaven with his beloved father, Burke Bertrand and a brother, Paul Bertrand.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Tuesday, December 13th from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Wednesday, December 14th from 8:00 am until time of services. Father Nathan Comeaux will recite a Rosary at 6:00 pm.
