BASILE-A wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Beulah LeJeune will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Beulah passed away on the evening of Thursday, May 07, 2009 at the Basile Care Center after a long and successful life. She was 91. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Saturday, May 09, 2009 at 12 noon at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Basile with Entombment to follow in the St. Augustine Mausoleum with Father Brian Taylor officiating.

Beulah will be remembered as one who enjoyed being with her family and friends. She will be lovingly remembered by her two sons, Marcus Stooge LeJeune of Basile, Ferrill LeJeune of Lake Charles; her one daughter, Panzy Hebert and her husband, James of Basile; her brother, Austin Fontenot of Houston, TX; her sisters, Eunice June Chaumont of Basile, Laddie Pelican, Marjie Chapman, Shirley Cradeur, and Anna Belle Bertrand all of Kinder; her eight grandchildren, Darrel LeJeune, Cynthia Smith, Rhonda Bellard, Brandon LeJeune, Raedonna Person, Scott Hebert, Todd Hebert, and Lori Ann Jordan; seventeen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton LeJeune; her parents, Stagg and Victoria Richard Fontenot; her daughter-in-law, Sadie LeJeune and her grandson, Donald LeJeune.

The family request that visitation be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Basile on Friday, May 08, 2009 from 12:30 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Saturday, May 09, 2009 from 6:00am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Friday evening.
