EUNICE~ Betty L. Castille, mother, sister, grandmother and friend passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at St. Agnes Nursing Home in Breaux Bridge with loving family by her side. She was 77. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 1:30 PM on Friday, October 16, 2015 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Sensat Celebrant.

Betty retired as a seamstress at Jantzen. She enjoyed playing bingo, cooking, reading and sewing. She was a most loving and caring mother, sister, grandmother and friend and will be forever loved and missed by her family and friends especially her five children, Anthony J. Castille and wife, Linda of New Iberia, Becky Cormier and husband, Willie of Breaux Bridge, David Castille and wife, Tammy of Eunice, Jenny Cormier and husband, Carl of Breaux Bridge and Kim Castille and wife, Diana of Eunice; a sister, Janice Stelly and husband, Norvan of Opelousas; the joys of her life her twenty grandchildren and twenty three great grandchildren; as well as extended family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Castille; two children, Andy Castille and Suzanne Fontenot; parents, Gustave and Mable Kimball LaGrange; three grandchildren, Danielle and Candance Fontenot and Brandy Castille.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Thursday, October 15th from 2:30 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Friday, October 16th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon David Guillory will recite a Rosary at 6:00 pm Thursday evening.
