EUNICEIt is with the heaviest of hearts that the family of Bessie C. Courville announces her passing on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was 86. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Courville Cemetery with Deacon David Guillory officiating.

Bessie was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten by her four children, her son, A. Glenn Courville and wife, Beany of Eunice three daughters, Diana C. Nettle and husband, Jerry of LaPort, TX, Patricia C. Sittig and husband, Charles and Vicki C. Doucet and husband, Duane all of Eunice. She also leaves her sister, Alice Verret of Grapevine, TX. Her memory will most certainly be cherished by her six grandchildren, Jon Nettle, Faith M. King, Dr. Tiffany M. Villalobos, Nina C. Hoffpauir, Rosario Cifelli and Melissa Courville and seven great grandchildren, Matthew King, Ashlyn, Peyton and Kaitlynn Nettle, Luke and Emilee Hoffpauir, and Hunter Guidroz. They were truly her greatest joy in life.

She will now reunite in Heaven with her beloved husband, Octave Courville parents, Adam and Eunice Maher Courville four sisters, Laura Smith, Emma McBride, Mary Winn, and Odile Schexnailder two brothers, Martin and Charley Courville. They surely await her arrival with open arms and joyous hearts.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Friday, June 14th from noon until 9:00 pm and again on Saturday, June 15th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon David Guillory will recite a Rosary at 6:30 pm Friday evening.

The family of Bessie C. Courville wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Heart of Hospice, Heart Hospital of Lafayette, Dr. Kevin Courville, Dr. Zeb Stearns, and Nursing Specialties for their care and support.
