EUNICEA beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family and friends. She was 86. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:00 am on Friday, August 29, 2014. Rite of Committal will follow in the LeDoux cemetery with Father Dustin Dought Celebrant.

Bertha, or Teadie as she was affectionately called by family and friends was an Air Force wife who had three children and the sole parent who took care of her family while her husband was away serving his country. Sadly missed but joyfully remembered by her devoted and loving husband of 62 years, Lieutenant Colonel, Richard D. LeDoux USAF Ret, of Eunice her son, Richard D. LeDoux, Jr and wife, Debi of Memphis, TN two daughters, Jeanne D. LeDoux Gray and husband, Daniel of Tehachapi, CA and Suzanne A. LeDoux Mumphrey and husband, Scott of Indianapolis, IN a sister, Patricia Erin Russell and husband, Lew of Beaumont, TX. She was blessed with nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren as well as many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dubuisson and Bertha Reed Manuel brothers, W.C., Shelton, Gerald and Larry Manuel and a sister, Edwina Manuel.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Thursday, August 28th from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm and again on Friday, August 29th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon David Guillory will recite a Rosary at 6:00 pm Thursday evening.
