IOTA-Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, March 23, 2007, at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Iota for Mr. Bennett Fontenot Sr, 36, who passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2007, at Jennings American Legion Hospital.

Interment will follow in the Sensat cemetery in Egan.

Survivors include his wife, Ginger K. Fontenot of Egan; parents, Harry Lee and Elaine Fontenot of Sneads, Florida; a son, Bennett Paul Fontenot, Jr. of Egan; two brother, Johnny Ray and wife, Lucy Fontenot of Grand Ridge, Florida, Ryan James Fontenot of Sneads, Florida; a sister, Cheryl Ann Mosses of Jennings; three nieces and five nephews.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bennett and Helen Harrington, paternal grandparents, Harry and Cecelia Fontenot.
The family request that visitation hours be observed on Thursday, March 22, 2007 at Ardoins Funeral Home in Iota at 12 noon until 10:00 pm and again on Friday, March 23, 2007 at 8:00 am until time of services.
