EUNICEWith much sorrow, the children announce the passing of their beloved father, Belvin LeBouef who peacefully slipped away in his 70th year with his family by his side at Oaklane Wellness Rehabilitation Center in Eunice on the evening of Monday, July 30, 2012. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 01, 2012 at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Interment will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating.
Belvin proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked in the oilfield as a truck driver and supervisor until his retirement. He loved hunting and football especially watching LSU and the Saints. A proud caring man, he will be greatly missed by family and friends especially his two daughters, Charisse Douget and husband, Joey of Eunice and Alicia LeBouef of Lafayette five sisters, Delores Vizena of Kinder, Jane Chapman of Iota, Margie Sonnier of Lake Arthur, Irene Manuel of Sulphur, Barbara Prather of Church Point and the joys of his life his two grandchildren, Victoria and Isaac Douget. Also mourning his loss are nieces, nephews and friends.
He now rests in Heaven with his beloved parents Renis LeBouef and Nora Courville LeBouef Schambough and his step father, Gurvis Schambough.
At the request of the family visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Tuesday, July 31st from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Wednesday, August 1st from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon Gary Gaudin will recite a Rosary at 6:00 pm Tuesday evening.
