EUNICE It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Belinda Joyce Peres, 55, announces her passing on Monday, June 25, 2012 at Lafayette General Medical Center. A Celebration of Life will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Friday, June 29, 2012 at 2:00 PM. Internment will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery in Eunice with Pastor Dennis Gotreaux officiating.

Belinda will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 35 years, Darrell Peres of Eunice her mother, Emma Joyce Fontenot Reed of Eunice son, Darrell Seth Peres and companion Brittany Deranger of Eunice three daughters, Cherie Crochet and companion Brandon Gadberry, Tammy Sittig and husband, Clint, and Holly Fontenot and husband, Jr. all of Eunice ten grandchildren, Kevin, Krislyn, and Logan Manuel, Emily, Natalie, Alli Sittig, Brodi Walker and Mallori Kate Fontenot, Ayden and Rylee Peres and her loving dogs, Lilbit, Max, and Diamond.

She now rests in heaven with her father, Wilson Bellard daughter, Tiffany Mathilda Fontenot and grandparents, Domathilda Fontenot and Clarence Fontenot.

Belinda was a strong person and believed in keeping her family close, and was especially close to her grandchildren and her dogs.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2012 from 10:00 AM until time of services on Friday. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday evening at 6:00 PM by Deacon Gary Gaudin.
