BASILEIt is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of our beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, Barbara Ann Perrodin, on Monday, December 05, 2011 at the Acadian Medical Center in Eunice. She was 80. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 07, 2011 at 1:00 pm at the St. Augustine Catholic Church in Basile. Entombment will follow in the St. Augustine Mausoleum with Father Brian Taylor Celebrant.

Barbara was a retired teacher from the Evangeline Parish School Board. She had over 62 years with her husband, Calvin Perrodin of Basile. She was the loving mother to four lovely children three sons, Stephen K. Perrodin and Mark A. Perrodin both of Lafayette Guy C. Perrodin and wife, Stacey of Alexandria her daughter, Nadja Perrodin Hays and husband, Tom of Covington her brother, Charles Inky Bush and wife, Jackie of Baton Rouge her sister, Betty Jo Miller of Baton Rouge. She was blessed with nine grandchildren and further blessed with eight great grandchildren. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.

The family would like to express great appreciation for the love, care, and thoughtfulness that the caregivers gave to her over the years.

She now rests in Heaven with her beloved parents, Charles and Nettie Lutcher Bush, Sr.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Basile on Wednesday, December 07, 2011 from 9:00 am until time services.
