IOTAWith much sorrow the family of Barbara H. Dietz announcing her passing on Saturday, May 17, 2014 in the comfort of her home at the age of 67. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Monday, May 19, 2014 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Jennings. Burial will follow in the Iota Cemetery with Pastor Gary Koopman officiating.

Barbara was a wonderful mother, sister and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her especially her four children, Shannon Dietz of Baton Rouge, Aaron F. Dietz, Brian Dietz and Alison Dietz all of Iota and a sister, Belinda Hebert of Breaux Bridge.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Francis Dietz her parents, Pierre and Alice Richard Hebert and a brother, Michael Hebert.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Iota on Sunday, May 18th from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm and again on Monday, May 19th from 8:00 am until time of services.
