EUNICEIt is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Arthur Ray Miller announces his passing on Friday, January 20, 2012 at Eunice Manor Nursing Home at the age of 87. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Deacon David Guillory officiating.

Ray loved the outdoors and loved to be in his garden but most of all he loved to dance and whistle. A wonderful father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and friend he leaves to mourn his two sons, Kenneth Ray Miller and wife, Elise of Port Barre and Ronald Charles Miller of Eunice his daughter, Sandy Matte of Eunice his sister, Diana Miller Garnett of Clarks. He was blessed with eight grandchildren, Russell Miller, Mike Miller, Angie Ardoin, Jolene Miller, Tina Bennett, Kelly Miller, Shannon Matte and Shi LeJeune and further blessed with fifteen great grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He now rests in Heaven with his beloved wife, Vera Mae Richard Miller parents, McKinley and Mary Roy Miller soninlaw, Richard Matte daughterinlaw, Jennifer Courville Miller brothers, Donald, Bobby, Jack and Skeet Miller sisters, Nancy Coleman and Ramona Kester.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Saturday, January 21st from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Sunday, January 22nd from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Saturday evening.
