EUNICE-Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at New Hope Fellowship Church in Eunice for Mr. Arthur Jene Fruge, 68, who passed away on Monday, March 19, 2007 at his residence.

Interment will follow in the St. Jules cemetery in Te-Mamou with Pastor Woody Gunnel officiating.

Mr. Fruge was a truck driver and also served in the United States Marine Corp.

Survivors include his wife, Anna Michaud Fruge of Eunice; three daughters, Angie Fruge Manuel and husband, Randy of Eunice, Ronda Fruge Alexander and husband, Troy of Guam, Annette Fruge Borden of Seattle, Washington; one step-son, David Blanchard and wife, Sharri of Eunice; one step-daughter, Angie Owen of Eunice; one brother, Clinton Fruge of Neederland, TX; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren.

His parents, Thomas and Vinice Fontenot Fruge, precede him in death.
The family request that visitation hours be observed from 3:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 and again on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at 8:00 am until time of services.
