BASILE-It is with great sadness that the family of AnnaBell Young Ardoin announces her passing on Monday, June 08, 2009 at the Basile Care Center. A wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, and friend, AnnaBell will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at 2:00 pm at the St. Augustine Catholic Church in Basile. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Augustine Cemetery with Father Brian Taylor Celebrant.

AnnaBell will be lovingly remembered by her one son, Bert Ardoin of Jennings; her five daughters, Elsie A. Rose, Helen A. Johnson, Glenn A. Bergeaux all of Basile, Gladys A. Rose of Baton Rouge, and Velma A. Guidry of Basile; fifteen grandchildren; twenty seven great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; thirteen step grandchildren; and seventeen step great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Adam Ardoin; her granddaughter, Charlene Rose; and her daughter-in-law, Sharon Ardoin.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Basile on Tuesday, June 09, 2009 from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Wednesday from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Tuesday evening.
