EUNICE- It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Angie Marie Marcantel on Thursday, November 16, 2023. Graveside services will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice to honor her life at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, by Cody Andrepont.

       Angie was born on November 8, 1968, in New Orleans to Paul and Nancy Hall Marcantel. She had a deep passion for dancing and singing, but it was music that truly brought her joy. Throughout her life, Angie embraced every moment and lived life to the fullest. Her love for her children and grandchildren knew no bounds. Angie is survived by her mother, Nancy Dietz of Eunice; daughters, Sunnie Daigle of Eunice, Jamie Zaunbrecher of Church Point, Heather Beggs of Maurice, and Rachel Daigle of Richard; sons-in-law, Cody Andrepont, Ross Bellard, Scott Beggs, and Bobby Fontenot; brothers, Alton Marcantel, Derek Marcantel, and Curt Marcantel; sister, Anita Marcantel; twelve grandchildren, Graclyn, Baylin, Adalynne, Madison, Maddux, Aubrielle, Hunter, Ansley, Analeigh, Maverick, John-Ryker, and Paislee; her canine companions, Zoey and the late Star; as well as a host of extended family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

        Angie is now reunited with her late father, Paul Marcantel.

       A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm, and again on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, from 8:00 am until the time of the services. Memories will be shared at 7:00 pm on Tuesday. Family and friends are invited to gather and pay their respects in honor of Angie's life.
