Angelle Darbonne

EUNICE-A Mass of Christian Burial for Angelle P. Darbonne, 86, will be Celebrated Monday, May 12, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthonys Catholic Church in Eunice. Burial will follow in the St. Paul Mausoleum with Father Ed Duhon officiating.

Mrs. Darbonne, a resident of Eunice, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at the Oak Lane Wellness and Rehab Center in Eunice. Angelle was a member of the Ladies Altar Society, the Omega Group, and the Catholic Daughters of America. She was also an Adorer at St. Anthonys Catholic Church. The family would like to thank the faculty and staff of Oak Lane and Heart of Hospice for all their compassion and care.

A loving mother, sister, and grandmother, Angelle is survived by three sons, Charles Darbonne and wife, Dianna of Duralde, Larry Darbonne and wife, Debbie of Eunice, and Donald Darbonne and wife, Charlotte of Eunice; one daughter, Pris Lynch and husband, John of Baton Rouge; one sister, Evelene Bellard of Eunice; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Evas Darbonne; and four sisters, Lelia Miller, Beatrice Cormier, Eve Olivier, and Cecile Thibodeaux.

Family request that visiting hours be observed on Sunday, May 11, 2008 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and again on Monday, May 12, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. until services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening.
