EUNICEIt is with great sadness that the family of Amant Lavergne LeJeune announces her passing on Friday, September 28, 2012 at the Lafayette General Hospital at the age of 88. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Thomas Cemetery in Savoy with Father Tom Voorhies Celebrant.

Amant was a homemaker and devoted her life to the care of her family. She was a very kind and loving woman and spending time with her family and friends brought a great deal of joy to her life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her especially her son, Robert LeJeune of Arnaudville four sisters, Teresa Aymond, Rena Manuel, Irene Lavergne all of Eunice and Laura Lavergne Steele of Carencro five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

She now rests in Heaven with her beloved husband, Gilbert T. LeJeune her son, Oran John LeJeune and her parents, Christopher and Anna Cormier Lavergne.

At the request of the family visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Friday, September 28th from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Saturday, September 29th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon David Guillory will recite a Rosary at 6:00 pm Friday evening.
