EUNICE-A Mass of Christian Burial for Alma L. Brown, 80, will be Celebrated Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Thomas Roman Catholic Church in Savoy. Rite of Committal will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Sonny Brown officiating.

Mrs. Brown, a resident of Eunice, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2008 at the Acadian Medical Center. She was retired from Home Health Services.

A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Alma is survived by her husband of sixty-one years, Frederick Brown of Eunice; three sons, Carl Brown and wife, Katie of St. Martinville, Keith Brown and wife, Kathy of Lafayette, and Gregory Brown and wife, Cindy of Scott; two daughters, Margaret Stageman and husband, Craig of Eunice and Joanie Quibodeaux and husband, Stephan of Abbeville; seventeen grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Landry and Azina Miller Landreneau and one brother, A.L. Landreneau.

Pallbearers will be Carl Brown, Keith Brown, Gregory Brown, Brice Quibodeaux, Douglas Moreau, and Scotty Brown. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kearnie Brignac and Duane Landreneau.

Family request that visiting hours be observed on Monday, May 26, 2008 from 1:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. until services. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Monday evening.
