BASILEA wonderful mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and friend, Allie M. Guillory will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Allie died peacefully on Saturday, April 21, 2012 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was 85. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 23, 2012 at 10:00 am at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Basile. Entombment will follow in the St. Augustine Mausoleum with Father Nathan Comeaux Celebrant.

Allie was a homemaker and devoted her life to the care of her family. She was a very kind and loving woman and spending time with her family and friends brought a great deal of joy to her life as well as being a wonderful cook, doing yard work and sewing. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten by her three sons, Weldon Guillory and wife, Frances of Shreveport, Larry Guillory and wife, Sophie of West Monroe, Kenneth Guillory and wife, Jennifer of Iowa her two daughters, Shirley Morein and husband, David of Lafayette, and Jeannie Herpin Guidry and husband, Rickey of Toledo Bend her two sisters, Marjorie Ardoin of Eunice and Rosa Belle Blanchard of Lake Charles. She was blessed with twelve grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.

She now rests in Heaven with her beloved husband, Emmett Guillory step son, Emmett Guillory, Jr. granddaughter, Gena Guillory and her parents, Joseph and Jenny Manuel Marcantel.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Basile on Sunday, April 22nd from 9:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Monday, April 23rd from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm on Sunday evening by Deacon Gary Gaudin.
