Algie Cyr

EUNICE- It is with sadness that the family of Algie P. St. Cyr announces his passing on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice at the age of 82. At the family's request there will be no visitation or service, and burial will be at a later date.

Algie was very intelligent and well read, enjoying reading about every subject. He enjoyed talking to people all over the world on his short-wave radio, loved cats and riding his bike. He was also a proud United States Navy veteran. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him especially his nieces and nephews, Robert Cummings, Cynthia Figueron, Joseph Cummings, Danna Cummings, Diana Mize, David St. Cyr, Bonnie Stewart, and Greg St. Cyr; extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, David and Lelia Mix St. Cyr; brother, Harold St. Cyr; and sister, Geraldine Cummings Chachere.
