IOTA-Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Friday, February 16, 2007, at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Iota for Mr. Alfin Joseph Miller, 84, who passed away Thursday, February 15, 2007, at the Basile Care Center.

Interment will follow in the Reed Cemetery with Father Mikel Polson officiating.

Mr. Miller was a Veteran of the United States Navy.

Survivors include his two sons, Patrick Alfin Miller of Morse, Larry Miller of Iota; a daughter Henrietta Pouchi Miller of Iota; a sister, Zula DeBarge of Lake Charles; thirteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, one great great grandchild.

Preceded in death by his wife, Elvena Pousson Miller, his parents, Alfred and Myrza Miller;a son, Preston Miller; a daughter, Catherine Coco Miller Courville; grandson, Lucas Shane Miller; two sister, Bertel Thibodeaux, Bernice Matt.
The family request that visitation hours be observed from 3:00 pm until 10:00 pm Thursday, February 15, 2007, and again on Friday, February 16, 2007 from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Thursday evening.
