EUNICEAlexina Zen Bellard passed away peacefully October 30, 2012, in the comfort of her home with her loving family by her side. She was 81. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday, November 02, 2012 at St. Thomas More Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Cedric Sonnier Celebrant.

Alexina, known to many as Zen was a wonderful mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed sewing, baking, gardening and praying the Rosary. She enjoyed the sights and sounds of bird watching as well as canning fruits. She left those who knew her with warm memories to cheer us and fill our hearts especially her five children, Brenda Bee Bergeron of Lake Charles, Lannis L. Bellard and wife, Billie Jo of Dayton, TX., Sarah Elfert and husband, Greg, Ushary L. Bellard and fianc, Stacy White all of Moss Bluff, and Amy B. Oliver and husband, Steven, Sr of Eunice two brothers, Eneise Breaux and wife, Anita of Sorrento, FL and Maurice Breaux and wife, Shirley of Lake Charles sister, Maydell Veronie of Moss Bluff sisterinlaw, Euna Andrepont. She was a loving grandmother to eight grandchildren, Lance Buddy Bellard and wife, Cathy, Chasity Nikki Stephens, Brian Colin Bellard, Joseph Matheu, Amber Guidry, Sissey Bellard, Steven Oliver, Jr. and wife, Lacy and Lauren Lomas and husband, Alex ten great grandchildren, Cayla Jo, Emmy, Ryan, Colin, Maddie, Steven III, Ethan, Christopher, Kaila, and Sawyer.

She now rests in Heaven with her beloved husband, Clannis L. Bellard her son, Dannis J. Bellard grandson, Eric J. Bellard and her parents, Alfred and Artimise LaVergne Breaux.

At the request of the family visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Thursday, November 1st from 10:00 am until time of services. Father Cedric Sonnier will recite a Rosary at 7:00 pm Thursday evening follow by a Cursillo Rosary at 8:00 pm.
