EUNICE A wonderful mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, Agnes Darbonne Thibodeaux will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Agnes died on Saturday, June 28, 2014, at home surrounded by her loved ones. She was 89. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:00 am on Monday, June 30, 2014, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Sensat, Celebrant.

Agnes was a very kind and loving woman and spending time with her family and friends brought a great deal of joy to her life. She will be missed dearly by her five children, Georgia Rodgers of Lafayette, Becky LaFleur of Eunice, Don Thibodeaux of Greenwell Springs, John Thibodeaux and wife, Barbara of Eunice, Robert Thibodeaux of Zachary three brothers, Elton Darbonne of Lawtell, Melvin Darbonne of Eunice, Delton Darbonne of Basile and a sister, Joyce Guidry of Eunice. She was blessed with eighteen grandchildren, thirty two great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Thibodeaux her son, Thomas Thibodeaux parents, Louis and Bernadette Bellow Darbonne and three brothers.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Sunday, June 29th from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Monday, June 30th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon David Guillory will recite at Rosary at 7:00 pm Sunday evening.
